Every year at Deer Shed, we try to programme a line-up that spans all genres of music. So when Honk slipped onto our radar with a biog describing themselves as "Trashcan Country", we had to take a listen. This six-piece are on a mission to rewire the idea of country music—you could describe their sound as raucous, rough-edged, dragged through the back alleys of punk and left to dry in the blazing sun.
