Inspired by history, folklore and atmosphere, alt-folk musician HerOrangeCoat visited five different woodlands during her writing and recording process, a song in each, all written within a single day. She now invites you to step into the process behind her music. Drawing upon the stories and landscapes that shaped this project, this workshop explores location-focused lyric writing and the creative potential of our woodland spaces. Throughout discussions, reflections and shared inspiration, participants will consider how place can influence sound and storytelling.

The session concludes with a live performance of HerOrangeCoat’s original tracks; her intimate, introspective songs that invite listeners into the woods.
